The aroma of sumac is typically associated with Middle-East cuisine – especially as a key ingredient in its wonderful fattoush salad. A fruity spice with a delicate sharp taste, it is often used as a finishing touch. Sumac is sprinkled on hummus, grilled chicken, fish, potatoes and more.
